The smallest machine that still prints a bank-readable check
It uses an all-in-one cartridge rather than separate toner and drum units, which keeps the maintenance routine short enough that a finance team can run it without a service visit for routine changes. The MICR cartridge and a standard cartridge are interchangeable, so the same machine prints checks in the morning and ordinary documents in the afternoon without a reconfiguration.
Recommended volume is 5,800 pages a month against a 35,000 page maximum duty cycle. That gap is deliberate and worth respecting. Running a MICR printer near its duty ceiling accelerates fuser and drum wear, and worn components are one of the common causes of a weak magnetic signal on the MICR line.

We handle the first call and may dispatch a Ricoh authorized service technician to repair the device on site. Ricoh aims to arrive within four hours during normal business hours.
Not available on the P 311M: 4-Hour Response, 24/7. All three plans compared.
Technical support is included with all plans. An exchange or a dispatch happens only where the issue cannot be resolved by telephone. Toner and consumables are not covered. A service plan must be added at the time of purchase.
