Technical support

Technicians on the phone at two in the morning

Technical support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It covers both hardware and software, and it is included with every hardware service plan and with every printer purchase.

There is no additional enrollment. If you bought a printer from us, or you hold a service plan, the coverage is already yours and the call starts wherever the problem is.

Four kinds of help, all beginning on the same telephone number

  1. Service plans

    Cover repair or replacement.

  2. Technical support

    24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  3. Installation

    Three steps, ending in certification.

  4. Consultation

Evaluation of what you already run.

A technician is dispatched only when the telephone fails

You call, we diagnose, and it is either fixed on the call or a device ships and a visit is scheduled. Technical support answers around the clock on (800) 937-4224.

Toner and consumables are not covered by a service plan.

Where to send it

One phone number, two mailboxes

Hardware and software are handled by different technicians, so an email addressed to the right side of the operation reaches someone who can answer it without a handoff.

Technicians are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm ET. Technician availability is around the clock and is not limited to those hours.

Who is covered

Two ways you already have this

Technical support is included with every hardware service plan. It is also included with every printer purchase, whether or not a service plan is attached to that printer. Either route gets you the same technicians and the same hours.

What the two routes do not share is what happens after the call. A service plan is what authorizes a replacement device to ship or a technician to be dispatched when phone support cannot resolve the issue. Without a plan, the call still happens, but the hardware remedy behind it does not.

One relationship for the printer, the software, and the toner

The same technicians support all three, which is why a MICR quality call does not turn into three vendors pointing at each other. Typical MICR toner in this industry rejects at 2% to 4%. Our ProMark™ MICR toner is independently tested at a 0.1% reject rate or lower on an IBM 3890 high-speed reader/sorter, and when a reject rate climbs anyway, the cause is something we can see from here.
