Rosetta Technologies Announces Expansion of CheckStream® Software Family for Commercial Printers
Rosetta Technologies, a leading provider of Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) printers and check and Image Replacement Document (IRD) software solutions, today announced availability of the newest addition to its family of check printing software, CheckStream® Commercial.
Optimized for commercial printers, CheckStream® Commercial provides all the elements required to generate checks in a commercial print environment. "More and more commercial printers are searching for new ways to grow their business as traditional offset press volumes decline," said Rob Hullar, President of Rosetta Technologies. "Many have added high speed laser printers to capture smaller digital on-demand jobs. CheckStream® Commercial affordably provides them with a brand new service to offer customers and grow their business while leveraging their existing equipment."
CheckStream® Commercial can print stacks of blank personal checks, top/middle/bottom business checks, and multi-up sheets with or without NCR paper interleaving ready for cutting and collation into bound or perforated checkbooks. "Digital check printing eliminates minimum volume thresholds and allows even large commercial printers to accept virtually any job in any quantity and turn around finished check stacks in minutes," continued Hullar. "Check printing is no longer limited to specialty printers."
The software includes Rosetta's check form design tool that allows users to create customized checks in a totally digital workflow. CheckStream® Commercial not only prints blank checks shells, it can also print live checks for payroll, promotional, explanation of benefits (EOB) applications - even coupons and form letters - further expanding the services commercial printers can offer their customers.
As with all other members of the Rosetta CheckStream® software suite, CheckStream® Commercial supports variable data merging, flexible signature and logo placement, multiple bank accounts and audit logging for a complete transactional check printing solution, in addition to blank check printing. Further, CheckStream® Commercial is intelligent and provides multiple levels of data security, allowing commercial printers to add the services of negotiable instrument printing with complete confidence.
