Rosetta Technologies Launches the SP 8300DN MICR printer

The SP 8300DN MICR printers provide robust, cost-effective printing of ANS and ABA compliant MICR output for departmental and light production environments. Built on the established performance and reliability of the SP 8200DN, the SP 8300DN exceeds the standards customers have come to expect while adding a number of new enhancements. Combined with Ricoh standard features, such as duplex printing, beefed up security, large format printing and Rosetta Technologies' field-proven ProMarkâ„¢ MICR toner, the SP 8300DN is perfect for demanding environments where speed, high monthly volume, expandable paper handling, consistent quality and low cost per page are requirements.

Running at up to 50 pages-per-minute, the SP 8300DN MICR family boasts a 300,000 page per month duty cycle, heavy-duty paper capacity and an extremely low cost per page. Additionally, it supports genuine, native IPDS, as well as PCL 5e/6 and Postscript 3.

Rosetta has developed the SP 8300DN MICR Series to support a variety of functions, including but not limited to AP/Payroll check and form printing, departmental check printing, printing substitute checks (IRD) and multi-up blank checks for commercial printing applications. Superior toner adhesion, low cost per page, and excellent and consistent MICR reliability combine to provide a robust, high quality family of MICR printers.

Security features include user code authorization, Windows authentication, and on certain models, tray locks, authorized user locked printing and hard drive encryption. Other security features are available from a wide variety of protocols and encryption methods.

Rosetta Technologies has launched three versions of the SP 8300DN MICR printer. The base MICR model comes equipped with built-in standard security features. The second includes robust locks for the two standard paper trays. The third model adds a locked print feature, hard drive encryption and hard drive overwrite. Legacy integration services are also available as an option to provide compatibility with existing applications.

These workhorse network-ready printers address many specific customer requests including support for higher resolution, increased security, a more informative touch screen control panel, improved network management tools, increased supply yields, and higher volume support, while maintaining consistent ANSI-compliant MICR output.
