Rosetta Technologies Introduces Desktop LED-based MICR Printer
Rosetta Technologies, a leading provider of Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) printers and check and Image Replacement Document (IRD) software solutions, today announced the launch of a new series of desktop MICR printers. These new systems feature ultra-reliable LED imaging technology and an innovative two-part supply system for easy user maintenance with a low cost of ownership. Combined with Rosetta's best-in-class MICR toner and software technology, these next-generation printers deliver efficient and dependable MICR printing capabilities with output quality that meets or exceeds industry standards.
Engineered in partnership with office equipment industry leader Ricoh, the compact yet expandable SP 4510DNM MICR Printer has a continuous print speed of 42-ppm with a recommended volume of up to 10,000 prints per month. For maximum productivity, LED imaging technology produces true 1200 x 1200 dpi without slowing down. Designed for small to mid-size offices generating payroll, accounts payable, insurance claim checks, rebate or customer checks, the SP 4510DNM is packed with industry-standard security capabilities including data encryption, user authentication and Locked Print to make in-house check printing applications more secure. Automatic timer and power saving features like the Eco Night Sensor shut the printer down when not in use. For added versatility, customers can even exchange the MICR print cartridge for standard (non-magnetic) supplies to leverage their networked printer investment over daily workgroup printing needs in addition to check printing applications.
The SP 4510DNM MICR Printer is available in five configurations. The Standard version includes a 500-sheet paper tray, 100-sheet bypass, 512 GB RAM, and is pre-loaded with E13B and CMC-7 MICR resident fonts. The SP 4510DNM Secure adds a locking paper tray to protect valuable check stocks. More secure environments can step up to the SP 4510DNM Guardian version that includes the locking paper tray and a 320 GB hard disk with Locked Print, Data Encryption and Overwrite. Customers with MICR plus host print applications can choose the SP 4510DNM IPDS loaded with genuine IPDS and additional RAM. Add a locking paper tray for the SP 4510DNM IPDS Secure. Each of these ANSI-compliant MICR printers can be further customized with additional memory and locking paper supply options to boost capacity to up to 1,600 sheets for non-stop productivity.
