The Ricoh-Rosetta Partnership
In every market it serves, Ricoh strives to provide the most outstanding products, services, and overall customer satisfaction. As Ricoh’s exclusive technology partner for workgroup and production MICR solutions, Rosetta Technologies strives to deliver the most complete and technologically advanced MICR products to Ricoh and its customers.
While the Ricoh-Rosetta partnership formally began in early 2007, the two companies share a lineage dating back more than a decade. In 1994, Rosetta developed the first desktop MICR printers for IBM Printing Systems. In 2002, Rosetta partnered with Hitachi Printing Solutions to develop high-performance MICR toner for Hitachi’s DDP line of production printers. This fruitful relationship continued with Ricoh’s acquisition of Hitachi in 2004, and further strengthened the historical ties between the Ricoh and Rosetta.
Today, Ricoh and Rosetta’s engineering teams are tightly coupled, driving next-generation MICR solutions to market. Rosetta’s advanced research and development team with unmatched expertise in MICR xerography, combined with Ricoh’s world-class engineering and manufacturing capabilities, offer customers new print-management capabilities, breakthrough MICR toner performance, and lower total cost of ownership.
Ricoh’s direct sales organization and resellers both remarket printers, toner, and software engineered by Rosetta. Supported by domain knowledge from Rosetta’s sales, applications engineering, and professional services teams, they are able to deliver the right MICR print solution to any Ricoh customer.
