While the Ricoh-Rosetta partnership formally began in early 2007, the two companies share a lineage dating back more than a decade. In 1994, Rosetta developed the first desktop MICR printers for IBM Printing Systems. In 2002, Rosetta partnered with Hitachi Printing Solutions to develop high-performance MICR toner for Hitachi’s DDP line of production printers. This fruitful relationship continued with Ricoh's acquisition of Hitachi in 2004, and further strengthened the historical ties between the Ricoh and Rosetta.

Supported by domain knowledge from Rosetta’s sales, applications engineering, and professional services teams, they are able to deliver the right MICR print solution to any Ricoh customer.
